Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her performance as the character Detective Diane Russell. Also, she has appeared in dramas such as All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Delaney was born as the only girl of her mother who was a homemaker and high-ranking executive of the United Auto Workers. Delaney was a child in the company of four brothers. When she was a kid, she dreamt of being an official in the courtroom. However, after graduating from high school and moving to New York in the 1980s then she started modeling. Her first acting job was as a teenage innocent as a child in All My Children, a 1981 soap opera. Delaney was in numerous of films, television movies and dramatics since then. Delaney has not lived a good or satisfying personal life. She is talented and beautiful, has battled addiction to alcohol prior to that. The marriages she has had been unsuccessful twice. Her custody was taken away from her son in 2005.
